ex. orchard frenzy

finally, end of the first 14 weeks in ocs.. moving on to pro term, which is gonna be another 24 weeks of training..

met up with my platoon mates in town for a movie, followed by some lan gaming and den dinner.. had quite some fun cuz afterall, had been thru quite with this bunch of friends..

looking back, these 14 weeks hadnt come by easy.. training was moderately tough.. learnt quite a bit of stuffs and of cuz been thru moments tat i'll nv forget in life..

so, we're all gonna be split us as we move on to our various vocations.. the next time we see each other is most prolly 21 weeks later, back at the main parade square.. =)

but anyway, certain things happened earlier (nothing to do with the gathering) and it made my rusty brain work out a little..

i feel tat computer mediated forms of communication, or CMC (hps. msn, irc etc. u get the idea) for short, have its shortcomings when it comes to expressing certain human emotions and feelings..

it is especially hard for ppl who have probs expressing themseleves thru words during simple discussions.. for example, if u wish to disagree on a point and remain silent, the other end have totally no idea wat u are up to or wat are u exactly thinking abt.. unlike conventional face2face, where u have non-verbal hints or thru phone where u can actually hear the tonality of the receiver, and make an accurate estimate of to see how much the other person agrees with u...

sigh..

guess i shudnt have remained silent..
